A wandering angel
with broken wings.
A sullen dreamer
plagued by nightmares.
A shadowed figure
with a bright hope.
Nothing is ever what it seems
in this wicked land of wonder,
where every being's wish
is only to lead you astray
to take your life with hope
that it will better their own.
The cat, your guide, is twisted,
broken and alone.
The roses, your hope, are thorny,
only wishing for your blood.
The caterpillar, your best friend, too high to care,
too busy searching for some new drug
So won't you come through the glass,
read our story, play our game.
For though the Cheshire cat may grin,
beware the claws and fangs.
Please, young girl, we only wish for love,
these wicked creatures that we are,
for someone to play with, to give us hope again.
So close your eyes and jump in,
live your life with no regrets..
Fix the broken wings,
give the dreamer a cure,
and pull the figure from the shadows.
Make our world alright.

Hey, Kie! Very well written. I enjoyed the glimpse into Wonderland that you gave us. I never thought to see the story from the eyes of the people of Wonderland before. That you were able to get across their want for everything to be right even though they may hurt and fool you made it that much more exciting for me. Keep up the good work and I'll catch you later!
